PERSONALITY: Asami is a very kind and considerate person by default. She's willing to work hard in order to help others and make sure they'll be alright. Despite coming from a wealthy background she isn't some prissy princess. In fact, she uses her wealth to help others rather than herself. While she may be used to luxury it doesn't mean she can't live without it. She's very intelligent and finds way to assist other in many different ways.
As sweet as she is, Asami is also very capable of standing up for herself. She doesn't let anyone use or do wrong to her without snapping back at them. She's not a naive young girl you can just use and then throw away. Asami isn't afraid of fighting for what she believes in and stand her ground in face of adversities. She has a very strong sense of justice and she fights alongside Korra in Team Avatar, helping her during the journey. She may be the only one who is not a bender in the team, but she's still a very strong asset to it. And the designated driver most of the time.
Due to growing up surrounded by business people and her father being the CEO of a huge company, Asami has grown up to be a rather shrewd businesswoman herself. She's capable of keeping a level head in business meetings state her deals with confidence. Well, sometimes working with a bit more eccentric businessmen is a bit difficult and she'll need her friends to support her on that (Varrick is a tough person to work with sometimes).
Asami is a very strong person in many ways. Even while she's hurting, she's still able to come back stronger than ever. Despite benders killing her mother, she's able to keep herself from developing prejudices against all benders, unlike her father. She stood against the Equalists (a faction formed against benders) even if it meant cutting his ties with the only family she had left. She also held no spite against Korra after finding out she wanted to steal her boyfriend (Mako) from her. And even after falling out with Mako and breaking up with him she still cared for him and hoped for his safety.
Despite being a very sympathetic and considerate person in general, her father's betrayal was something that she carried a grudge on for years. She wished to hurt him as much as he hurt her with his betrayal and didn't answer to any of his calls. However, after finally agreeing to meet him and seeing how guilty he was, she was willing to give him another chance. Later on, her father died, sacrificing himself to defeat Kuvira, and Asami was glad that she managed to forgive him before it was too late.
She also has the tendency to be quite stubborn about things which often leads her to be fixated about something for a long time. Eventually she needs to be either snapped out of it or she'll just have to finish what she was so fixated on. This can be both a strength and a weakness, depending on the situation. She can also have a rather short temper, snapping whenever she feels annoyed or belittled. She's petty, but usually gets over things pretty quickly.
She is a very loyal friend and is there for her friends in their good and bad times. She'll help them celebrate their victories and support them cheerfully, but she's also fully capable of supporting them in their darkest hours and take care of them. She's open and relaxed around her closest friends. Not that he's overly tense around strangers, she's just even more like herself when surrounded by those important to her.
As a romantic partner, she's very loving and romantic. She flirts a lot and wants to go out on dates to relax a little bit. She does know work is important, but so is having fun from time to time. She's still only starting to date Korra, but she already adores her a lot - she's had feelings for her for a while now. In her previous relationship Mako she's also shown to be pretty jealous and someone who desires for attention and closeness.
